These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Bee Merry Christmas Lights website and the holiday lighting services provided by Bee Merry Christmas Lights ("Bee Merry," "we," "us," or "our"), based in Newbury Park, California and serving Ventura County and greater Los Angeles since 2020. By requesting a quote, booking a service, or using this website, you agree to these Terms.

Acceptance of Terms

By contacting us, requesting an estimate, or engaging Bee Merry for any service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, along with our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

Our Services

Bee Merry provides full-service holiday lighting, including design, installation, in-season maintenance and repair, removal/take-down, and off-season storage of residential and commercial holiday lighting displays — including C9 rooflines, icicle lights, tree wrapping, wreaths and garland, permanent/year-round lighting, and RGB color-changing systems. See our Services page for the full list. The exact scope of work for your property is defined in your written estimate or agreement.

Quotes & Estimates

Quotes provided by phone, online form, or in person are estimates based on the information available at that time, such as photos, described roofline footage, or a site visit. A quote is not a binding agreement until both parties confirm the final scope of work, pricing, and installation date in writing. Final pricing may be adjusted if the actual property conditions differ materially from what was described when the estimate was prepared.

Scheduling & Property Access

Installation and removal dates are scheduled based on availability, weather, and seasonal demand; we recommend booking early, ideally before Halloween. You agree to provide our crew with reasonable and safe access to your property, including any gates, exterior outlets, or specific areas covered in your quote, on the scheduled service date.

Payment

Payment terms, including any deposit, are set out in your estimate or invoice. Invoices are due upon receipt unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept the payment methods listed on your invoice. Accounts not paid within the agreed terms may be subject to late fees or suspension of further service.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand plans change. Please notify us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations made with insufficient notice, or missed appointments where our crew is on-site and unable to access the property, may be subject to a service or rescheduling fee, as noted in your estimate.

Satisfaction Guarantee & Repairs

Bee Merry stands behind its work with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If any light or component we installed fails or malfunctions during your service period, we will repair it — typically within one business day of being notified — at no additional charge, for the duration of your active service agreement.

Warranty & Limitations

We warrant that installation work will be performed in a professional, workmanlike manner. Lights and equipment we provide are covered for defects during the active service term. This warranty does not cover damage caused by severe weather, third-party interference, unauthorized modification, power surges, or normal wear from extended use beyond the agreed season.

Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring our crew has safe, timely access to the property; disclosing any known roof, electrical, or structural issues; and keeping walkways and work areas reasonably clear. Please point out fragile landscaping, existing wiring, or pets that may affect the job before work begins.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bee Merry's liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under California law.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, photos, graphics, and the Bee Merry name and logo, is the property of Bee Merry Christmas Lights or its licensors and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our prior written permission.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Ventura County, California.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date above reflects the most recent version. Continuing to use our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
